Overview

Maps can be great teaching tools, but imagine how engaging they might be if they were animated. Animaps, a free application, extends the My Maps feature of Google Maps and allows you to add animations, text, images, and video. In this session we will show how to add markers that move, images and text that pop up on cue, and lines and shapes that change over time. We will also share examples of how to use these fun, animated maps in your classroom!
