Good webinar, I feel it is important to teach our students how to use technology in a respectful manner. They need to be able to be good citizen across the board.

Interesting way to engage some kids. Although I agree with teaching digital citizenship, I worry that it is at the expense of some course content.

I absolutely love the different challenge ideas however the reward system sounds like a huge undertaking. I am wondering how many students Jose has each year. At my US high school teachers have an average of 125 students and 3 different preps. We are also divided into quarters not trimesters which makes grade reporting come around very quickly. I am the Technology Integration Specialist for the school and I think it would be fun to create school-wide challenges. How would I manage keeping track of posts from 3000+ students? Yes it is a big school. I have to think about how to adjust this idea for such a big school.
