Would you like to be more inclusive of all students and cultures in your classroom, but just aren't sure where to start or what to do? As education continues to focus on achievement and academics, it is crucial for us to focus on the social-emotional aspect of our students. It is so important that we remember our cultures will most often not line up with the cultures of our students. We need to do our best to learn about our students and how their culture has shaped who they are and how they learn. This is cultural sensitivity.
