Overview

Educators are in the presence of genius every day. From 5-year-olds to teenagers, these are children who, if invited and indeed challenged to do so, would give our world something it badly needs. The education of our children is about leading this genius into the world. Noticing, delighting in, and supporting this genius are at the heart of our work as parents and teachers. When we create a time and space for our students to strive audaciously and connect and collaborate with others, their genius is liberated, and learning, lives, and worlds change.

Join Angelea Maiers as she explores how we can work together to build a community of educators and parents from every grade level, every demographic, and every nation in this world - a community in which everyone contributes thoughts on how to best liberate the genius that lies within each and every one of us. Angela will also introduce her free e-book, Liberating Genius in the Classroom: The First 20 Days, which helps launch educators into the process of leading their students' genius into the world.

I love the idea of finding ways to help students see that they are capable of contributing in a positive way to make the world better.

Incredible! Just like the Bible says, each part of the body of Christ is necessary for the good of the other parts.

I applaud the concepts presented in this webinar. I see them as valid and needful. That being said, for most teachers, taking an hour from every week to do this would bring an "all-time-is-spent-on-preparing-for-state-tests" administrator down on your head. It is a regrettable reality.

Helpful perspective - I love the word board with tag adjectives, for adults and kids.
