Create Your Own Personalized Augmented Reality Content: It's Easier than You Think!
You may have seen or used Augmented Reality (AR) apps that were pre-made, but how would you like to learn how to create AR content that is personalized for your classroom and your learners? It's easier than you might think to design your own engaging activities that appeal to this generation of digital natives!
Join Courtney Pepe as she explores LAYAR, a free AR tool, and teaches you how to publish your first AR campaign. She will share how to make good "trigger" images and discuss the different types of buttons that can be scanned to make 2-dimensional content become 3-dimensional. Courtney will demonstrate how to create and link buttons to websites, polls, and social media sites, such as Twitter and Facebook. Most importantly, she will also show you how to place Augmented Reality links to videos, audio files, and sound cloud widgets to improve your classroom, enhance your content, and engage your learners.
