There are so many national, state, and local laws regarding special education and special needs students that it can often be hard to keep all of the legal aspects straight. Join Melissa Mann as she provides an overview of various special education laws and how they relate to students in public schools. This webinar will focus primarily on national U.S. laws, such as No Child Left Behind (NCLB), Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and discuss how they may impact you and the students in your class. Melissa will also discuss a few state and local laws that have set precedents for other states.

This is good as an introduction to special Ed law, for those not yet familiar with it. It is not very in-depth, for those who are already somewhat familiar with the law, but it does serve as a good refresher.
