Would you like an easy way for your students to access and interact with online information? Quick Response (QR) codes are special two-dimensional barcodes that can be decoded by any Web-enabled mobile device with a camera and a QR reader app. These codes can be added to existing print materials and classroom objects to make them clickable: with the snap of a photo, the student can access a Web page or online video for additional information and multimedia examples that can aid with understanding.

In this session, join Dr. Luis Perez as he shares how to use QR codes to provide multiple means of representation for all learners, including those with special needs. He will show how to create your own QR codes with a number of free tools, as well as how your students can access the information in the codes with a number of free QR reader apps for their mobile devices. In addition, Luis will provide classroom tips for using these with all learners.
