Overview

Education Secretary Duncan is promising that standardized testing will soon go "beyond the bubble," and both major firms working on Common Core assessments have committed to developing testing that employs performance task assessments as an alternative to multiple choice questions. The good news is that performance task assessment, though not perfect, is far better aligned with the goals of 21st century learning than most multiple choice tests.

If you are interested in new and improved forms of assessment, and want to get a head start on preparing your students for the critically important testing that is coming, you will benefit from this webinar. Join Jonathan Martin as he shares what this assessment model looks like, what skills it demands, and how teachers can (and should) begin to create and deliver their own performance task assessments.
